He's an edge runner. He got demolished on contact trying to run up the middle.

I thought maybe RS was dying and his make a wish foundation wish to be able to play a lot was granted with how many times they gave him the ball last weekend.

Why is there a need to dissect and evaluate every individual decision made by Miles?

Some things work, some don't. You can't just keep doing the same thing all the time.

Here's a novel concept -- let the coaches coach, players play, and us fans watch!

Its effective so I like it. And even though Shep hasnt come close to what we all thought he could be, he still has been a great tiger, leader, recruiter, and ambassador for LSU. He deserves to get a handful of touches a game. And those off tackle sweeps are very effective. I dont mind it.

Please see the link. The 1st half is all run, second half passing. Though he doesn't have a great spiral, I think the video show his ability to throw is not a myth. Also note most of his runs are up the middle. He's a downhill runner. You rarely see him run a sweep.

We need to give a ball a few more times as a RB the last few games. He's earned it, IMO, and has been a great ambassador of LSU football.

And let him throw it just once!
