Agreed. Hope he just walks away. Everyone will know what really happened but still. He deserves a classy exit. His time is done but he did a damn strong job for a long time. I'll miss him.

People lose their jobs all the time. He'll be paid handsomely to lose his.

The product on the field is the result of his program and leadership.

I don't think it is personal, nor should it be. This is a business decision.

The problems that have plagued the team have continued for years. The program does not change with some of the best talent in the country.

Miles is stubborn. He want to continue to do things "his way" and it seems many people have had enough. After the last three games (and previous seasons) it's pretty clear "his way" isn't working.

They don't act like players who are in fear of being "reamed out". That's my point. They look like players who don't know what the frick they are doing. They are poorly coached.

The 4th down at the 1 is a PERFECT example. There should be absolutely no question that the correct play should be called and that everyone should know what is going on after walking away from Miles after a TO. That was our last gasp, and OM didn't have to lift a finger. We literally stopped ourselves.

If this play was an isolated incident in a clean game, then the players would deserve the brunt of the criticism, but in a game with double digit penalties? Those are red flags you can't ignore. Well coached teams don't make these kinds of mistakes for an entire season. Players need to be accountable, but a consistent, team-wide lack of discipline falls on the staff. They are there to create a system and set a tone. Our staff has no "process." When your "best" O Linemen are false starting and your senior LB can't line up onside, that indicates deep rooted, program-wide issues.

Well let's keep him another year so he can pick up a rocking chair at every away game and we will waste a heisman caliber RB and SEC title level talent because of his antiquated offense. Hey, but at least we'll all have the warm and fuzzies, and 4-4 SEC record to go with it. No thanks, they guy has made a ton of money at LSU, I don't give a crap about his feelings.

It's been that way since day 1. I remember some of the early interviews with players during his first spring, which were along the lines of ' he's not as strict'. Or skylar Green's comments when he was picked up by Bill Parcels after playing for Saban then Miles, he said it was good to be with a coach again that focuses on details and held players accountable.

I agree. Les isn't on the field making soft arse hits on defense. False starts on offense? Yeah that's all Les?

What about the timeout with seconds left in the game down 3 scores for the 2nd week in a row? Is that the players too? Or the fact that we were at the goal line down multiple scores and letting the clock go down to zero instead of running a 2-minute offense? Was that the players? The players have their issues, but when Miles just claps as they make mistakes, it doesn't change their play.

So the head Coach doesn't have ANYTHING to do with the players not being soft or under prepared right... it's crazy to think about huh... Maybe we should hire someone and pay the a metric $hit ton of cash to have the players ready and have a plan other than dive left when we know the Berlin Wall is on the other side

Does your boss act like a hardass? Some do and some don't. I'd say that a any successful manager or coach in business or in sport has a vision with built in performance expectations. A good leader assures that the vision is achieved by attempting to perfect performance. This requires that participants are held accountable to accomplish details. With that the leader must focus on details and accept that he or she will be called a micro-manager, hardass, nitpicker or whatever. However, there's no doubt who is in charge.
