Anyone who doesn't think that is delusional. He also deserves to be told that his buddies BDP and Cam HAVE to go and it's not up for discussion.Even if you want him gone their could be a more tactful way to do it so that we don't look like a laughingstock. The only people who think LSU is a bad team are our fans, declining yes but not a bad program. Problem is you fire Les and you're telling recruits we suck. If you want him gone get him to announce a couple games in next year that he always knew when he signed Leonard he would retire. That he had made a promise to LF in recruting that he would be there as long as he was there.

So you think the correct thing to do is keep a head coach who is failing to produce and force him to make coaching decisions? Essentially coach for him? No, im of the belief, if he is gonna fail, let him do it his own way.

That happens all the time in business and football is a business. I once kept a client by firing a crappy employ at the request of the client.

Alleva will let Miles seal his own fate, He caved because of the scrutiny i have a feeling next time miles will just be shown the door after he fails next season when its supposed to be "our year"

So basically you think we should let the decline happen further until we are a bad program.

You want to save the 2016 and 2017 recruiting class but sacrifice the program for it.

Then 2018 and beyond will be shite recruiting classes when the program has declined to the point where it's painfully obvious we suck, and then what smart arse?

Because you can hire a coach for half of what Miles makes to achieve that goal.

Yea cause there's a ton out there that can win over 75 Percent of their games with LSUs schedule for over 10 years

Stop looking at "# of wins" especially when we play so many goddamn rent-a-wins.

Look at the SEC standings. We are tied for #4 this year. We were tied for #4 last year, we were #3 the year before that, tied for #2 the year before that, and won the SEC West the year before that. It's a pretty obvious decline if you're paying any attention.

If LSU fans lower expectations and accept mediocrity things should get better

Yeah and Sears was dominant once upon a time. 9 wins, with the talent this state produces, the insanely highly paid staff, and 3-4 rent a wins/awful teams, is easily obtainable every single year.

If Les has an offense next year like OU has now, I'll throw him a parade. Zero chance of that happening though.
