Yet he's won the same number of SEC championships as Miles and had put less players in the NFL. Saban is elite, no doubt. But let's not act like he's in a class of his own because of one night.

Saban is elite, I'm not disputing that. He's top tier, but so is Urban Meyer. Bob Stoops. Jimbo Fisher is making a strong case to be in that group. Les Miles is in that class too. These are the people at the top, and while I would put Saban and Meyer at 1 & 2, the gap to 3, 4, 5 is not nearly as big of some of you Saban fanboys want to admit. He got incredibly lucky at the end of 2011 and took full advantage of it on ONE night. Other than that, it's been damn close to a draw between him and Miles.
