Alleva is probably not doing his advance home work and has no clue about Rhoades.

I would suggest that yall send any and all comments about prospective new HC's to Eddie Nunez, who actually played college basketball ball at Florida. I'm sure he at least has a clue and can tell by looking at a Resume' who's a potentially good HC for LSU...............

Another potential candidate I think would be a good hire is Steve Forbes from E Tennessee St.

He was talked about on the SEC rant.

They all read this board. If Rhoades doesn't get an interview then LSU isn't doing their job.

Mad certainly is consistent and persistent even though many don't agree with him, including me....but he is resolute in his opinion for sure.

LSU needs to try to get a lot better than a coach who has only had one good season in Division 1 basketball.

Speaking of private Texas universities...

If we ARE that great of a job, then how can we not hire a guy like this? He wants to be at SMU just because Larry Brown dickled his way through there many moons after his twilight? Or, does he want to build on to a program with a note-worthy legacy?

This is the kind of resume-man who belongs at LSU. If SMU was Duke or even Vanderbilt, it'd be one thing, but they are not. And they, no matter the carnage that sliced that program into a trillion pieces, will always be football first just like LSU. Ask an SMU alum if he'd prefer a BCS berth or a Final 4.

He's building that program up. They were one of the worst in the NCAA and he's recruiting very well. They're only going to get better.

Do more homework. Yeah it's only one year but all signs lead to a continued upward trend.

LSU isn't landing a superstar HC. Needs to grab an up and comer.

Don't tell me to do more homework just because you're in love with the guy. He's a 10 year Division 3 coach who has had one winning season in division 1. Who knows, this guy could turn out to be great, but right now LSU must do better than this with this hire.

Hey, you finally did homework!

Yeah I'm in love with a guy who has a 20 win season at Rice, coached under Shaka and went to a final four with VCU.

Who also recruited guys like Chad Lott.

I read his bio before I posted the 1st time. We do not need a coach that we can get for cheap, which is exactly what this guy would be.

Thanks for the additional mention of Tim Jankovich.

Glad I am not the only one who hopes he gets consideration.

Coaching SMU with some thin depth (thanks to Larry Brown), Jankovich has them leading the conference and heading to the NCAA tourney.
