How ironic. LSU's first ever NCAA tournament game (and win) was against his alma mater, Lebanon Valley.

Johnny Jones was 190–144 at North Texas. They were in worse shape when he got there. Just because someone has a single good season doesn't mean they'll be a great fit.

Yeah, I'd much rather McCall than Rhoades right now.

Plus, Alleva would hire Stansbury before Rhoades anyway

At this point, any coach besides JJ will be an improvement.

Just prepare for Stansbury or Kermit. The crash will be much less severe if you go in expecting him to frick it up

Look at this year compared to his first two years. Rice was in the gutter and one of the worst team in Division 1.

Now he's recruiting guys like Chad Lott and turning that shite around.

LSU does not groom young coaches, LSU is the belle of the ball...We ARE College Basketball

If we don't get anyone less than Mike Krzyzewski, Alleva's head should be carried out of the Admin building on a pike

Rice won again today...

With the win, Rice improves to 18-8, 8-5 in Conference USA. It is the longest conference winning streak since joining C-USA and the longest since a seven game streak over the 2005-2006 conference seasons.

Not bad for a 3rd year coach who inherited a Division I gutter dweller.

Stansbury is the correct hire for our LSU Tigers.

Rice has now won 9 CUSA games. The most since joining CUSA.
