saw that Rivals had the 2005 class ranked at 22 (not sure which recruiting site is more reliable) but you're certainly right about Saban leaving him a wet bag of shite on his way out of town.

Yeah I was going off of 247 because they tend to be my most reliable, but I definitely remember other sites having it lower at the time.

Agree mostly.

Etling's deep ball is NOT better than last year.
RB's should be a D based on what we have seen in past years. This should be an A or a B every year for LSU.

The RB's just aren't producing at all this season and they've been more than likely the least explosive (in terms of long carries) running backs in the country.

That’s what happens when you go from running out of the I formation with a full back to Canada’s more complex system that removes the FB from the sole purpose of blocking for the RB situation.

If O pulls in a class ranked 30th you will have his die hards screaming that stars don't matter.

No doubt about it. The goalposts have continually been moved in an attempt to show the hiring of Coach o as a successful move. Everything that was demanded of the previous coaching staff is now disregarded. 8 or 9 win seasons are now acceptable. Losses to an average SEC squad and a SBC team are no big deal. Recruiting rankings mean nothing.

It's a great time to be a Tiger fan.
