The anatomy of a witch hunt:
Step 1: Disrupter Will Wade enters the arena (NCAA basketball) at a program that can compete with the blue bloods.
Step 2: Disrupter recruits at a high level and competes with establishment blue bloods.
Step 3: Establishment blue bloods get more and more pissed especially after the disrupter Wade steals a prized recruit (Smart) playing on a blueblood Kentucky AAU feeder team in Houston.
Step 4. Establishment bluebloods grow more and more pissed as the disrupter Wade land more and more big time recruits.
Step 5. Over time the establishment's target on the disrupters back grows more and more clear.
Step 6. Enter scandal. In this situation the disrupter is implicated in a larger NCAA scandal however because the disrupter's target on his back is now clear the establishment bluebloods with their resources hire media to spin a narrative. (Remember Pat Forde conveniently lives in Louisville Kentucky. I guarantee Pat Forde was paid by Kentucky boosters to run with the Will Wade witch hunt.)
Step 7: Media narrative is set via larger NCAA scandal on disrupter's back. The media piles on based only on one side of courtroom defense testimony. In this case based on the accusation that there are "tapes".
Step 8. Media snowballs the narrative based only on accusations. Media screams "tapes, tapes, tapes" meanwhile tapes are NEVER produced.
Step 9. Other sports in the college program run afoul of NCAA violations (OLL and Les Miles and Joe Alleva Title 9 stuff) and the disrupter's accusations are mentioned in the same sentence with those NCAA violations to continue the narrative.
Meanwhile all the people that hate the disrupter only hear what they want to hear and believe the fake media narrative.
