Would've liked to see him on the Cowboys but glad to see him on a team nonetheless

I was at his house last night...spoke to him today and came away feeling good about his chances...

You were there at his Draft party? When did he return after getting mad and leaving because he wasn't drafted?

Since you are close to the Ford family, do you know how they feel about the Hooper Trophy?

Cutler>>promo>>>>>tannehill.

Bears have forte so ford will be 3rd down back and situational back. Good for ford.

I don't understand ...

How does an udfa sign a "three year deal" when nothing is guaranteed unless he makes the team?

What is the significance of the multi-years?

I've lived in all three of those states, and pay a lot more in FL, and TX, than I ever did in IL. No state income tax is a bait and switch, they'll get the money. Good for him though, having an income tax problem is not always a bad thing

I have lived in Texas and now Illinois.. I beg to differ. This state rapes citizens with taxes. I have to pay $36 a year to "maintain our dog's rabies vaccine registry". Not get a shot...

Texas - No State income tax vs Illinois 5.35%
Sales tax roughly the same. Higher in Texas but Food and drugs are exempt. Illinois has a 11% beer and wine tax.

No way taxes are higher in Texas.

So we have these gems:

quote:

You how I know you don't know how little the majority of these guys really make? I'll put my career earnings up against that of most journeymen pro athletes.
ETA: I'll put my last ten years earnings up against that of the total careers of most journeymen pro athletes.

quote:

not bragging, but the guy sounds like a 9 year old, assuming that everyone that puts on a pro uniform and steps on the field is immediately, forever, in the Forbes 500

quote:

in neither did I brag, I just pointed out the erroneous assumption that most of the folks on here seem to have that anyone they see on TV, or in the papers, not in the police blotters, is automaticlly uber wealthy

Followed by this erroneaous assumption:

quote:

subtract the agents cut, bling, cs for 2-3 youngn's, support for their baby mamas, new house for real mama, posse on the payroll, new wheels, new crib in what more than likely won't be in a reasonable col area, or a smart decision, numerous celebration parties, and always picking up the tab because you rollin' in it and, oh yeah, taxes, how much is left? pretty typical scenario

My questions to you is hypocrite, douche, or both?

Can't wait to cheet him on in person at training camp. I hope he makes the final roster. The Bears don't have much depth at RB behind their first two backs (Forte/Bush).

Lonergan also signed a contract with the Bears.
