At the gym, so TVs have no sound, but just saw him on there. Steve from Jerry Springer is also on the show.

Met Michael briefly at Saints/Tampa game this year. He was signing items. Just so happened to have an LSU t-shirt on because it was too hot for a polo. He seemed genuinely excited to see an LSU fan come up out of nowhere.

One thing I noticed about him, even in that short amount of time, was that he seemed extremely friendly and genuine. Link only reinforces that impression.

Every time I go back home, he's always at the LSU Tampa Bay Alumni Association functions trying to sell books and jerseys. Got to see his superbowl and NCAA 'ship rings though.. ballin

Went to a basketball game at Christian Life friday and saw his name on one of the banners. Forgot he went to Christian Life and didn't remember he played basketball.

Sat in a box with him at an LSU home game his 2nd year in the NFL. He took down a 5th of Grey Goose and wasn't drunk. It was impressive.

ETA:

He had a big ole entourage too all wearing fancy jewelry and stuff. He looked a bit heavier than I remembered too, but he was nice to all the people that wanted to meet him. Very, very nice dude.

Yeah I think he kind of stopped doing that a few years ago

Probably the reason he wasn't a perennial pro bowler/

He took off from near the free throw line for a dunk against Episcopal in our gym and the place went NUTS. All the white kids were getting his autograph after

He was supposed to play at LSU but was too good at football to risk it.

Very very difficult to do both at the college level. You have to bulk up for football, then carrying all that weight up and down the basketball court is hell on your knees and ankles.

He and Marcus Spears were supposed to play. Spears may have even dressed out a couple time IIRC

He and spears were on the LSU basketball roster freshmen year, but after their success in the fall in football, they didn't participate even that first year.

Spears appeared in one game. He was on the bench for a few. But it didn't last long.
