Corey Webster basically implies the same thing Clayton has said

What do you think would happen if LSU and Bama got to switch schedules during this span and LSU was allowed a Mulligan?

Think those numbers may look even better for Miles and LSU? I think so.

That 4 game difference in the SEC is pretty big IMO

Of course it is. While a BAMA ALUM is making sure Miles is playing the likes of USCe, UF, and UGA while Bama is playing Mizzou, Tenn, Vandy and KY.

I'm surprised there isn't more than a four game difference in the SEC record when you consider the blatant double standard in scheduling.

But don't let that phase the retards here.

Skyler Green has said the same thing basically, and he's played for both coaches.

I talked to Shawn Jordan personally a few years ago, he says the same thing. He knows both coaches also.

If not for the mulligan game...Miles TWO NC's and Saban two NC's.

And that undefeated team would have gone down as having one of the best defences of all times. All forgotten now because a press is in love with saban....so are some of these retards.

I know a few of Saban's players turned their back to him. Just cannot recall the players

There is no question that he, to this point, has been the most important LSU coach possibly in any sport. He was a major factor in turning this program into a major player in CFB. He changed a lot of the thinking in the AD and, dare I say, TAF which led to a complete revamping of the approach to recruiting, facilities, expectations and attitudes. Is LSU where it is now without him? Not likely.

He just can't seem to get over that hump to an undefeated season.

Has everything to do with BAMA, and not Saban.

Remember, when Saban was at LSU, the press spent every waking moment convincing everyone who would listen that a coach for a team that didn't play in the title game in 2003 was light years ahead of Saban.

Has everything to do with brand. LSU doesn't have that brand, no matter how much the retards here want to believe they do.

Saban at LSU = Average coach taking a below average program to new heights, but Pete Carroll is better!

Saban at Bama = give the man every advantage possible in scheduling, officiating, and mulligans.

Truly amazing that LSU's own fan base goes along with this while simultaneously ripping their own coach for not meeting nearly impossible standards.

I really and truly hate most of our fan base.

Great analysis. Now compare schedules for the last six years and see if the difference in wins still looks as big...

Loses to two average teams it turned out in 3OT because of Bo Pelini's stubborness to blitz. And the debacle in the dome against Bama, well, I won't even go there. But he had a great chance to finish both those seasons unbeaten!

Bottom line.....before Les nobody at LSU was talking undefeated seasons at least not since the 60s-70s.....now everybody thinks we should go undefeated every year. If you disagree with this listen to the dumb asses on here and the call in shows say how they think LSU can and should go undefeated this year after 3 weeks of beating TCU, UAB, and Kent St.

You can thank Les for that. Not even St. Nick had the undefeated expectations that Les has now from the fanbase.

Not to mention the fact that Saban has only gone unbeaten once, and in that 2009 season, he needed special home cooking from the Bama alums that run the SEC to secure victories in Tuscaloosa against mighty Tennessee and that dumbass Les Miles with sophomore Jordan Jefferson at QB. LOLOLOLOL

You want truth! Truth is if Nick Saban hadn't been persuaded by Miami's owner to come there LSU's football team would be the equivalent of the baseball team. Shitload of titles in the 2000 era! And the expectations you are referring to would be so damn unrealistic I can't name any.

I'm not implying I'm flat out telling you that Saban wouldn't have had the amount of success at LSU that he has had at Alabama.
