No he wasn't. I remember - EVERY YEAR - people saying that same thing in the spring. Then the season would start and it was the same shite as in the spring game but with less passing.

Miles showed the whole offense in the Spring, it was just that nobody believed it until they saw that shite in the fall.

I'm going to be that guy. We go through this with every new coach.

I remember one point fans wanting to run through a brick wall for Chavis. At the end we couldn't wait for his fat arse to leave.

How long's it been since we had a formal OC who could actually coach?

orst part of the offseason is having awesome new coaches you want to see and you can't watch games ye
I'm at ease and comforted by the fact that Les Miles isn't at the end of the long wait.

Great video.

We have 2 coordinators that I'd much rather have either one as our head coach. :(

We always thought he was hiding the playbook. It took years for us to realize that was all of the playbook.

With O, I can see him actually running the offense they might use in the fall in the spring game. Imagine that!

I doubt it, but not because I think they want to avoid tipping their hand. With as many different motions and formations as Canada ran at Pitt, I'd bet that they won't be able to install all of the wrinkles in the few weeks of spring practice. My impression is that the plays aren't too complex or far afield from the plays most teams run, so maybe what we see in the spring game will be almost what they'll run in the fall, but who knows?

I flew with a Pitt fan and said he basically made their offense bearable.

Gotta remember. The players are running these plays in players only practice since just after signing day. They'll go back to that after spring and straight through the summer. 60% of the learning is done before spring and fall camp.
