I was thinking "Damn he looked like he took a time machine back to the 70s", then I saw that comment.

I'm not even exactly sure what this means, but somehow it seems 100% accurate.

I like people are shitting on LSU beating auburn AT auburn

especially for Zach, a lifelong georgia fan, beating AUBURN

that has to be a great feeling, and fans want to shite all over it

He is def saying the right things...but so does Mark Sanchez.

Let's hope his actions lead to improvements.

After 4 starts and only 1 road start....I like what I see and I like what I hear. It's nice to see receivers not having to go to a knee to catch the ball every time. It's nice to know that the deep ball is a legit threat in our arsenal. It's nice to not worry about the QB throwing the ball and wondering if the pass will even be close.

He has to work on speed getting the ball out, mental clock in the pocket, wouldn't hurt to work a little more on throwing on the run, and going through progressions(assuming he has the time to in the pocket). All fixable with practice and Krags is a good QB coach so those things should improve.

I am glad he is our QB.

Lee ALWAYS put responsibility on himself in interviews too. Your post should've read, "I haven't heard those words from Jordan Jefferson ever."

Man, I don't know what to say. Mett plays good enough for this team to win 14 games. It's the fricking OL (pass blocking) and WRs who are terrible.

Beckham had a drop for a pass that would've gone at least 30 yards, and Clement had a drop that would've gone for about 10 yards and he had Shep one on one deep and he couldn't come down with it.

If those catches are made he throws for about 225 on the road. I'll take that all fricking day.

It obvious that he has the tools, and that he has a great public attitude. Hopefully it is the same behind the scenes, but there is no way we can know that. If he does, then he will be a leader, if not the leader of the offense.

I like the fact that he looked cool and in control the entire game. I never saw him look rattled in the game, and considering how hyped the crowd was, and how loud the stadium was from start to finish, and that it was his first SEC road start, that's a big deal. Also, the fact that he was smart enough to throw the ball in the stands, even on third down, spoke volumes to me. That shows some maturity, and some learned lessons from the two picks he has thrown in the red zone. He isn't trying to win the game on every throw. On top of that, Mett only had one really bad pass decision, where he threw the ball into traffic.

In the end, Mett still certainly has things to work on, just like any new QB. But, with the D and RBs as good as they are, he doesn't have to do it all. If the O-Line and WRs can step it up (and boy do they need to), then we should be able to keep winning while he works out the kinks on the job.
