Mens basketball looking good

I know tonight didn't count. However, I loved the pace we played with and the fact that we have multiple 3 point threats! I like the progress with Elbert Robinson too. He looks a lot lighter on his feet! Can't wait until we go against some real competition!

Finally passing the ball around. Ben Simmons really has good court vision and loved to dish it around. Sampson looks great. I like what I see.

I just didn't like some of the passes on the fast breaks. A lot of them were off target. Sampson also surprised me tonight, his shooting was fire. And josh gray's new haircut makes him look stupid.

I know it was just Southwest Baptist, and it's hard to take too much away from the competition, but I really liked how comfortable we looked playing at such a fast pace. Still a little sloppy at times, but that tends to happen once you get a big lead. I saw a lot of good things with this team tonight, and we showed we deserve to be ranked. Looking forward to the McNeese game already!

Simmons was a steal away from a 5x5 game. He is going to stuff the stat sheet this year.
