This is a fact. Sagarin, SP+, FPI, Vegas computers.

I only say that to try and help people understand that it isn't a ridiculous notion that Ohio State is number 1. By no means does that make me believe Ohio State is better or worse than LSU.

I think the response here would be something along the lines of "How would OSU's opponents do in the SEC say with LSU or TAMU's schedule?" Heck, just drop any of those teams in the SEC west and see what happens. I think Minnesota drops at least 4, Meeshigan 4, Wisky 3-4, Penn State 3 and tOSU 2.

Explain why I am completely wrong.

The committee's explanation of putting tOSU ahead of LSU is laughably absurd. Am I incorrect on this?

They have no published criteria used to evaluate the teams, the meetings are secret which means it is little more than a corrupt beauty pageant.

But they don’t have LSU or TAMU’s schedule.

When did we put those as whippings on Slocum? I think he pretty much owned us when he was at A&M

Which is exactly the problem. It’s not hard to pass the eye test when your schedule is littered with in-state mid-majors and B1G roadkill

I think it is how LSU looked against the road kill vs. how Ohio State looked against theirs.

Ole Miss, Vandy, and Texas games aren't helping LSU any.

Ohio State doesn't have any games like that.

Oh, this guy is definitely in on the Big 10 bias/SEC fatigue conspiracy!

So is this guy

Joe Castiglione: Oklahoma athletic director

This guy is definitely in on the Big 12 hate

Frank Beamer: Former Virginia Tech head coach
Todd Stansbury: Georgia Tech athletic director
Ken Hatfield: Former Rice, Air Force, Arkansas and
Clemson head coach

These guys are certainly the reason why Clemson is ranked #1 this week.

Ken Hatfield: Former Rice, Air Force, Arkansas and

Christopher B. Howard: Robert Morris University President; former Air Force running back

These guys are clearly the reason why Cincy is ranked ahead of Air Force

All of the committee members are CLEARLY trying to match teams up that will make the most money for their schools (OSU, LSU, Clemson, {field})

I can't figure out the love for OSU and their desire to protect OSU

So wait, two committee members are the ADs of the schools (Oklahoma and Oregon) who might benefit most if LSU stumbles against UGA?

Yeah, the committee is defunitely going to frick us out of the playoff if we lose.

That actually helps LSU. They have to recuse themselves and can't have any part of the discuss. The reason OSU's AD resigned from the committee after last year. He realized he was hurting Ohio State.

Spin it any way you like; the comprehensive numbers would indicate that tOSU’s 12 opponents are better than LSU’s 12. And that’s why tOSU is ranked ahead of LSU.

the television networks

You mean THE television network? The CFP is a wholly owned subsidiary of E$PN. The same people who brought you 2011. They don’t give two shits about what’s “fair.” All they care about is money, and that means massaging the matchups for ratings, with some occasional controversy to generate buzz and content for their media empire. The “committee” does whatever it’s told to do.

This is probably the worst take I've ever seen posted not just here but on any sports related message board in my life.
