Absolutely demoralized over there.

Face the facts....BYU will never have the horses to play with that much speed and talent. We can sit around and say we are disappointed and we need to replace this player or that one or we need a new coach here or there.

Maybe I am just tired of fighting the good fight. We can't keep our best players on the field and the effort seems to be a waste of time and effort.

I am sure those two big fat TONGAN D lineman were absolutely whipped after that high tempo offense we threw at them.

When I saw how many starters LSU suspended last night, and then witnessed the devastation their second team did to our boys, it occurred to me just how massive the difference is between our talent and theirs. I don't blame BYU at all. The moment the PAC10 expanded to 12 and excluded BYU we were doomed. The ability to attract NFL talent and speed disappeared for us. Conferences like the SEC have become feeder programs to the NFL. The BCS has become so exclusionary that teams outside the P5 have no prayer. That is what Tom Holme has to work with. We can cast stones at our coaches and our quarterback after what we witnessed last night, but we do them a disservice. They are not at fault. College football is broken.

Did you miss when we went no-huddle?

And what are you implying? A run first offense can't be uptempo? Do you know anything about football?

Yes, the talent gap is wide and they were right to acknowledge it.

But this is a bit hyperbolic. Most of the suspensions were non-starters.

Come on, fella. Our offense last night was effective, but it wasn't "up tempo".

The best thing that could happen for BYU is for the Big 12 to expand and they get invited to join...other than that they are screwed over the long haul being independent...

Some of the folks over there still think the BCS is still around.

Our best player on Defense was injured. We started an 18 year old with 2 years of organized football under his belt in Chiasson.

We left our starting inside LB at home due to suspension. We started an 18 year old in his place.

We left a 3 year starter at CB at home due to suspension. We started a RS Freshman and another 18 year old in the slot in their place.

Don't discount what was on the field and what it did on defense last night for LSU. We had 18 year olds at every level starting and contributing.

Yet Tom Herman, who got his stool pushed in by Maryland yesterday, beat OU and Louisville last year with non-P5 talent. Hell, he was the one to expose the UL OL/QB before Kentucky and LSU did it, too.
