Media does not want JD to win the Heisman

He’s hands down the best player in CFB this year but the media does not care. The kid just did something that’s never been done in the history of college football yet ESPN buried the story last night. Pretty much mentioned it passing half way through Sports Center. Same with XM radio. Most writers do not have him as the front runner this morning which is crazy.

Why not? What’s their nefarious evil plot against Jayden Daniels?

It is not a conspiracy. The media is stupid and lazy. They decided early on that it will be either C. Williams, Penix or Nix. The only thing they have changed is that they eliminated Williams and until this week it was McCartney.

I see a number of media people saying he would get their vote today.
It's just that Penix, Nix and even Harrison's teams are still in the playoff mix, so those teams are still getting more attention. He has a chance though after last night's performance depending how things play out.

Don't agree, he has one issue that last nights game was on SEC Network. The other issue is West Coast and East coast voting. He has to convince half the country. Nix and Williams will get 90 to 95% of votes out there. Nix will get most do he has to get a lot of 1st place votes because Nix will. This is looking like 1963 Heisman where Jerry Stovall finished 2nd to 4 loss Oregon St QB. Texas AtM has to be on ESPN or CBS and not on SEC Network.

ESPN didn’t talk about it to the second half hour of support center and a College Papa final. It was way down as far as storylines. ESPN wants a popularity contest not the best player in the country to win.
