Although I believe this as a general rule, I can't get the Colt McCoy injury out of my head every time I hear this.

It's both. Honey Badger was awesome but LSU is not doomed without him

So if Ware doesn't "shape up" is he also next? There has been no evidence to suggest that Simon has been in any trouble since. Thus, you're being a dick by saying that.

Wait... You're 14 and you're trying to admonish a college age guy for messing up?!

That, my young friend, is fricking priceless. Run along and finish puberty.

he was getting 1st team AA mention at both DB and PR on various media outlets. so were that many in the media really calling him overrated?

I think LSU has a couple of players that are ready to fill the void

a5'8" 170 pound player isn't going to be the difference in whether LSU wins the SEC or not.

come on now...he made great plays last year...but would be hard to back that up this year...

everyone chill....we bowlin'

As long as Mett doesn't get hurt, LSU will be virtually impossible to be beat... If, (wait for it) If they show up ready to strap it on each and every game.

Is there any fire to the Ware smoke? Sure has been taking a lot of time off during fall camp. Doghouse?

Judging from the fact that we haven't heard anything more from that "eligibility" crap we heard the other day, coupled with the timing, I'm gonna say its more likely that he's just been a little banged up/overshadowed by the other backs.

I noticed that immediately about the media...I pointed it out several times...but I don't think Mathieu is or was overrated, however I do think he was one of the easier guys to replace and I think our offense will pick up any slack the D leaves...

ETA: and OBJ will do well with PR...he can make guys miss easily.. (see Kentucky game)

So you have a link proving he's "next"?
No evidence of him being in any trouble since then.

Lots of people said both for and against. You can pick any argument on here on the Rant and look like a hero by cherry picking some people's comments. If you do an objective search, you will see there were just as many for the honey badger, as against. It's like that with almost every thread and every big controversy. Some people, like Hot Carl, Cadello and others will pick out one or two comments that they don't agree with and try to look like an e-hero by making a big stink about it and starting threads to make themselves look smart.

I like to think positively instead of dwelling on the negatives.

So naturally I think we will overcome the loss of mathieu. That doesn't mean I think we will be better.

If Mett got hurt I would be devasted but then try to think look what we did last year. I just don't see the point on acting like one player is going to make or break the season bc we have yet to play a game.
