watching sportscenter now, and mcshay put lsu in the playoffs. He added how young lsu was last year, and its another les miles' team. He had oregon as the national champs, but at least he had lsu in the final four. It makes me wonder if he's just jumping on the bandwagon, since herbstreit and corso showed us some love. Cant wait til saturday

I honestly don't know where all the love lately is coming from. These media guys are so Jekyll and Hyde about shite though so take it all with a grain of salt. We'll know everything we need to know about this team in the next 3 weeks.

Snowballing factor somewhat IMO. Bandwagon sure is starting to scrape the ground at this point...

I don't think they know that much about Harris. They may have gotten a little info from practice somehow, but I think they do realize that QB is the only missing piece of the puzzle. If Harris can play decently it makes us contenders. Since everyone is sleeping on LSU, it's not a bad gamble to pick us as a "dark horse." Makes them look smart if it pans out that way.

Pretty much this. if they are wrong nobody will remember but if they are right they can play up how smart they were when everyone else was sleeping on us.

Uhhh what?? They made it last year, also got cheated in 2010 against Auburn. They have almost every skill position returning and have a TALENTED FCS transfer...... Trust me, they will shock a lot of teams

I think CBS sports is the devil now because their experts picked LSU as the most overrated team in the SEC.

I think P Steele started this in my opinion which made some analyst take a closer look as he is respected. Then when Harris looked like the starter and then when it was confirmed, all of a sudden LSU looked like a talented dark horse. Not sure any of us or them know that much, but things will change with them and most of us if LSU loses a couple of games in the first two months. Just my two cents and it is easy to get excited at this time of year.

Hell, even Vandy fans on the SEC rant are getting optimistic now for more wins and Cats looking for improvement and Pigs, Grinders, Ags, Vols, Gus worshipers, Bears, seemingly think they are going to surprise the college world.

LSU needs to beat State and Auburn and go from there. The last four look brutal right now but that may or may not change as the season progresses.
