'd probably be named the starter his senior year and win us a national championship.

Everyone will wonder (rightly so) why the hell he sat the bench all that time.

Miles will get another year.

I'd hope he'd get another year after a national championship

I like Clise because the name sounds cool. I don't even know how to correctly pronounce it.

Someone posted the other day that the talk was Etling was the most accurate passer.

He is. He puts the ball on the receiver every time. McMillan is second best, then Harris, then Jennings.

Yeah I understand that but the guy who posted this knows what he is talking about. One of only 2 or 3 guys on 247 that is truly trusted. He wouldn't make this up.

writers said in the spring that he looked the most natural of the three

doesn't mean he is ready or would be the best option yet.. just his throwing mechanics and whatnot.

McMillan has q great short game, imho. The kid has a whip-a unique release. His HS offense was all that short/screen stuff.

The solution though, imho is Harris mastering his craft. That kid has everything. He just needs to do it.

He is amazing at checking the ball down, extending plays, and putting touch on the ball. He doesn't throw the deep ball as well as Jennings or Harris and that's why he won't start over them. Cam Cameron is obsessed with the vertical passing game. It's why we need a new OC badly. We need more checkdowns and short passes to maximize the talent at hand.

IDK why LSU fans year in and year out always speculate that the guy who is on the bench is the next Tom Brady. There has NEVER been a 1st year starter at QB that has been successful at LSU, NEVER. The offense Miles runs will only allow the QB to be successful after some real game time experience and not a minute before. How the hell will we ever get decent QB play if we continue to go with the next true sophomore QB?

Trust me I know the head coach is the problem. I am just working with what I am given. He isn't leaving this year so I'm looking for hope.

I'm not against a two QB system. Harris does some things well, and doesn't do some things well. If he can't, don't have a problem with shuffling guys around.

If that happened, I would be absolutely fine with

that happening.

If you watched the spring game, you would already know that. Only QB that looked like he knew what was going on, threw one hell of a pretty pass to a TE for a touchdown.
