The Wade fan boys have to be in absolute shambles lately.. we got ourselves a winner fellas. Bright Future ahead and I’m here for it. We finally run some sets a recognize and don’t just play street ball.

Better but not "rolling." Make the dance, and I will support 100%.

You’re not going to support them unless they make the tournament?

Make the NIT/NCAA bubble and that's a good year two improvement. Sneak into the Dance and that's massive improvement, Coach of the Year stuff.

Make the NCAA Tournament next year would be on schedule.

I will watch and cheer for LSU, but McMahon still has work to do to get us back to the fun we were having before.

The way they run that double pic for Ward shows he knows what he's doing. Even when Ward was covered they used the space in the lane to drive to the goal. Ward and Wright and maybe Reed are becoming "the guy" which they didn't have earlier in the season. That play by Wright to throw the ball up in the lane as he's falling out of bounds is a high IQ basketball play with split second to make that decision. He gave them the only opportunity to make a game winning play. And Ward flying to the lane with time running out wouldn't have happened earlier in the year. All a result of Mcmahon putting that never stop fighting mentality in his players.

They are growing…. While I enjoyed wades time here, CMM is really doing more with less. The effort they put out on the floor is a result of coaching. They could have packed it up. He’s got them focused. Still can’t catch a pass at times but the energy from the team on to the crowd I can see he turning lsu into a consistent winner. The fans want it. The development is night and day from Nicholls game.

Were you there last night? That was one of the better environments in the PMAC in a long time.

I will give him that this week, but we were doing less with less before the past 2 games. We need good coaching AND more talent to keep up with the SEC.

No you said you won’t support until they make the tournament. I’d rather folks like you pick a different team.

Well, too bad. I don't even particularly like basketball. I only watch LSU basketball, and I miss the excitement and fun it was under Wade. McMahon might be turning the corner, but he has been a flop until very recently.

IDK that I'd label myself a fanboy but here is the thing: I like LSU WAY more than I like a coach. Anyone who is upset that LSU won and looks to be turning a corner needs re-evaluate their fandom.

I'll tell you what this team is coming around and could make a push for the Tourney if they can win out and get a couple of SEC Tourney wins. I have been aloof most of the last 2 years but I will be tuning in the rest of the year. I am happy to be a basketball fan again.

This should be a given. If you have to say it, then there is some internal issue you are having as a fan.

No question about it. Will Wade left this program in shambles, but McMahon is acting like an adult and building his program the right way.

Sounds like you're more entertained by people dressing up and delivering one line zingers over actual basketball.

If you didn't have loads of fun watching the game last night, something is wrong with you.

Obviously he needs more talent which I think he will get. Players could have quit but the keep fighting. Even after the first time out in the 2 nd half down 15, the bench was positive.

It's amazing how McMahon has been metamorphosed, by The Rant, from El Losero Grande to El Campeon in just five days time.

For me the jury's still out. I'm not yet sold.

Average LSU basketball "fan". And you wonder why Woody canned Wade to save football in a heartbeat. Most of y'all don't care.

We will never maintain a continuous elite program unless we have damn near unconditional fan support. LSU MBB is the stepchild of the sports at LSU.
