That's Ed Orgeron's post game quote. How's it possible that they were that far off in their evaluation? Was he also that far off evaluating his OM teams?

It's amazing we are in this position. A true and obvious end to an era of winning really is here.

We have a coach (and athletic director) that literally cannot return us to a championship level program.

We are a lesser program than MS State. Let that sink in.

I do say and would love to hear a logical, reasoned, intelligent argument to the contrary.

Yeah Alleva has to go before anyone can hope for football to get back on track. Until then just got to ride out the storm.

"Tell the truth Monday" should be pretty interesting.

This is the thought that keeps going through my head. The days of LSU being a feared team are over for at least the next 3 years and it's really had me in a funk all day. I LOVE LSU football and its falling apart before my eyes. And its all because of one person. Joe fricking Alleva. I literally hate him.

The quote that also gets me is "They were a little bit better than some of our guys thought."

WTF? Why does that matter? Did you think MSU would suck? Did you prepare for them to suck? Did you take the week off?

He did not have these guys prepared plain and simple. I hate Paul Finebaum with a passion, but he was dead on on this one. He said that LSU would be looking ahead to Florida and Bama. It looks as though our coaching staff was too. Unfricking believable.

I will too. We may win the next one. We beat Troy. That's four. We should beat Ole Miss and split with Arky and aTm. That's 6 and that's all I can come up with regarding the season.

Being totally honest, this Cuse game has potential to be a disaster too. If we lose that one, getting 4 wins may prove difficult.

I think that quote is spot on. Can't fix the problem unless you first acknowledge it. We need better players in spots. Bottom line.

Yeah I think everyone in the fansbase agrees Alleva has to go. Wonder when the people in charge will be able to figure it out too.

I'm sure our DL looked like all pro nfl players against our offensive line

Hate's a strong word, but I'd be lying if I didn't have those feelings too.

Did he really say this?

That's absurd that he would underestimate his opponent. He's the HC, he should be scared to death that something like last night could happen. That fear of being completely embarassed is what helps you prepare your team to be its best.

I don't know what more you guys need to hear to know this guy hasn't the slightest clue of what he's doing.

Per Dellenger:
