He is a very athletic kid and I'm glad that he is a tiger but he has a lot to work on. Right now his technique isn't very good and he has no bend. He comes off the edge standing straight up.

I have no issues in speaking of the talent I see. Let's revisit this thread in d

It's no way you can see Top 5 NFL draft talent from watching high school tape. The kid may end up being all time great, but let's see him play in the SEC first before you make those assumptions.

I was also very impressed with his film also. Not sure about the intangibles? Work ethic and maturity. He reminded me of frank Herron in high school. I was super impressed with him as well. Time will tell!

Have you seen his Senior tape?

I just saw his tape for the first time. Very quick, uses his hands well. Can evade blockers, but also seems good at two-gap and driving penetration. Seems instinctual and very underrated...but he doesnt look as good as Lawrence. Lawrence is SEC ready athletically. I bet he is a regulat in the DT rotation from the first game.

IAM I am sure you are a nice person, but calling your wife (my old lady ) is disrespectful

Looked great in his All Star game. Stayed in the back field and has a nose for the football.

Overall, Lawrence is a straight beast at that DT spot. I don't doubt that he will make a significant impact..

I chose to post about Roddy, because he seems to be the sleeping giant of this recruiting class.

Quite frankly. I couldn't be more excited about the defensive class as a whole.
Losing fowler sucked, but I'm a true believer in karma, and the way that situation was handled, stinks some awful.

I'm hoping White can fill that role of MLB for this class, but when I watch Whites defensive tape, he seems to be more of an arm tackler. I like guys that are full drive through tacklers. Guys who run through the offensive players. Most of our guys are drive through tacklers.
If White can get coached up to run through ball carriers, and not chasing and grabbing, he'll be a beast in the middle in my opinion. White's size and speed are something you can't coach.

Caleb Roddy is a mean, nasty, fire breathing alpha dog. He gonna eat.

I don't know how high his ceiling is, but he could have easily been a four star. Good knack for locating the ball in the back field and tackles with due diligence. I hate seeing a guy bust into the back field and then look lost our pursue the wrong player when it's not an assignment.

It matters a little. But not as much as ESPN makes it out to be. Tony Romo, Victor Cruz, JJ Watt, Aqib Talib were all two stars. Ed Reed was 0 stars.

Aranda will be huge for us. Especially for the first game of next year.

Kids has great technique. I defensive lineman or edge rusher that can use his hands like that will cause many issues. He and Key in 2017 will be better than Mingo/Montgomery...but my prediction hindges on having Coach O there. Hold that Tiger!

I don't know about any of the others you posted but Ed Reed was most definitely not a 0 star. We wanted him desperately but he wanted to go to Miami. Was a flat out stud in high school.
