OVC is a tough Mid-Major, a true basketball Conference. McMahon will be familiar with the SEC programs and the recruitment hotspots. If you can get guys to Murray, KY he shouldn't have a problem getting them to Baton Rouge.

Doesn’t matter the offense you run if you can’t get good players. All due respect

You don't need 5 5 stars to compete and do well in the tournament.

Coaching and high basketball IQ, and experience go a very long way in college basketball.

You need 5 5 stars starting for you to do well in the SEC?

Having a reasonable talent level combined with high IQ players, upperclassmen, and good coaching goes a long way.

to me the teams that *usually* do well in the tournament have a mix. High level athletes, mixed with smart, tough players that just know how to play team basketball.

This is true but you don't get to the tournament in the SEC without having big time players. It's why Mizzou, Ole Miss, State, Aggy, UGA, USC don't make it consistently.

We will have a hard time testing your theory if we don't even make it through the SEC. You need talent to do it in our conference

Yeah I'm not talking about having 5 white kids under 6 foot play for LSU.

Its ok to have a mix of high end talent, and smart/tough players with high basketball IQs.

He has had solid teams at Murray State. What makes you think he can't recruit at LSU?

That’s a zone offense. Teams in the SEC play mostly man.

Better be top 10 in the country in efficiency if he wants to match what wade did. PLUS he’d have to lead the league in scoring.
