Tee Martin has these as well. Surely you think he had a better college career than Peyton Manning, right?

this thread has officially gone full retard

I'll add this...

Obviously Flynn has had a much better NFL career than JaMarcus.

With that said....

Am I the only one who think even Ryan P. could have won that NC over Ohio State. That was one of the most overrated teams that year. OSU played nobody.

I think Ryan P could have got it done after facing Tennessee.

With that said, Flynn played lights out and was great.

Flynn didn't play in that sec championship game. Why are we all giving him the credit for it?

He got LSU to the SECCG and he was MVP of the BCSCG. Why not give him credit?

I see success as titles. Matt has a SEC title and a BCS title as a starter. I'm not putting Matt up as the best LSU QB. I do think of the two he was the most successful.

What part of:

do you not understand?

[quote]most successful. does not equal most talented, but ok[/quote

Matt's talent has him still in the NFL and still having NFL teams bid for his talent.

No, but he had a better college career than JR. He won an SEC as well as a national championship.

Based on RPs career at LSU, what makes you think that he could have stayed eligible to play in the game.

Matt had more success by winning the SEC and BCS as the starting QB and has had more NFL success.

I was talking purely college....but a certain segment feels like they have to put JR down to prop Flynn up. Flynn and JR had identical regular season records, Flynn just happened to be quarterbacking the first ever 2 loss team to get into the NC. So putting JR down and propping Flynn up for winning one is just stupid.

I don't get why some LSU fans seem to hate JR, yes he flopped in the NFL but was a damn good QB in his time here and didn't have any off field issues either.

So, how do you judge success? Hasn't JR made more moolah than MF?

Flynn was the better QB over his LSU career.

One day you will see the light, SFP.

Marcus Randall was better than both JR & MF.
