BH was awful, and that changed everything in the game...could not sustain a drive, thus the defense was on the field too long...and Auburn is a pretty darn good team, as was Miss State.

LSU, imo, has played the two best SEC West teams so far, early in the season. It will only help them. While the ship is apparently sinking, and all the rats are jumping off, I believe that LSU will at a minimum go 7-5, and potentially 8-4. The remaining games are all winnable, individually...and LSU will not be more than a single digit dog in any of them. It's easy to over-react, but usually, we look back and see THAT was all it was. There is a lot of talent on this team, and they will play much more competitive going forward.

Freshmen QB who's first start was at auburn.

Take a it easy on him. Coaching fault for not distinguishing obvious better talent in spring ball.

Wow, you've got the blinders on.

We are not a good team this year. Problems are everywhere. I saw this before the year even started. It's not difficult to see, if you embrace reality.

Hopeful but highly unlikely. 2 more wins would be a monumental achievement for this football team.

OP nailed it. Harris looked awful handing off 17 of the first 20 plays and he changed everything.

In the past 2 seasons, LSU had lost double-digit elite players to the NFL as underclassmen. Miles is a top recruiter... but in the end it hurts his team each year. The stars leave early in droves leaving less experienced players to man the ship. LSU is second, only to Tenn, for playing the most freshmen this season. The result is what we see each weekend.

If there is a solution I have no idea. But the staff cannot be blamed for all of the team's woes. This allows other SEC teams with very good, but not elite personnel, to be stronger each season than the Tigers. There players are staying and performing better than our untested freshmen & sophs.

If we had a kick arse offensive scheme that we just didn't have down pat yet I would agree, but we have Cracker Jack bullshite one that just will not work. I like running the ball but goddamn think of some better plays.

Under no circumstances should LSU lose 41-7 and play as poorly as they did. None. Please remove your purple and gold blinders.

Kansas St would have beat Auburn if they had a kicker and nobody on that team would have been recruited by LSU. That's because they prepare and develop the players they have no matter their skill level and compete. We aren't competing. We are being exposed. 1999 was terrible. Saban took those players and turned it around. We need a new direction.
