Massive fail on preseason predictions

This team has fallen flat on its face.
I’m sure no one could have predicted a collapse like this, but I can’t find a single thing we do well. I figured we would take a step back offensively with all the production lost. But thought pitching could carry until Jay figured out the lineup.

I figured we be around 6-6 or 5-7 at this point but I never thought it would be this bad

our program carries alot of weight, but as much as we lost from last years team yes I thought we would be worse but this is just down right atrocious

Most overrated team in the country. Not even close. Hoover may be a stretch at this point.

When was the last time we were mercy ruled this many times? Losing is bad enough, we are being humiliated. And no one in the dugout seems to GAF

This team is arguably worse than the 2011 team at this point and time right now. That's really bad.

Look like decent predictions preseason. In fact, I had LSU doing well this season and I admit it. I thought the batting would go down as it has but the hype on the pitching was out of this world. Even losing Skenes I thought the overall pitching would be better. But both UCLA pitchers have stunk (Hurd not a surprise really) and Ack has regressed. Guidry has had some bad games. I'll say it again...Holman has not been the ace expected...3 out of 4 bad SEC starts. Griffin Herring is the only pitcher doing well right now. And I didn't know much about Braswell but didn't expect him to be a one man error machine. Congrats Braswell for leading the SEC in errors made!

This is all on CJJ. His talent evaluation process for SEC caliber pitching is Unbelievably bad. Hiring assistant coaches is even worse. If there is not major improvement next year we will know it was Lightning in a bottle syndrome just like Coach O. At this point, there is a possibility he is in over his head

Start Anderson on Sunday with Coleman and helmers in relief. He seems to do better as a starter.

We have no 'tough' this year! No one with a never give up attitude. Name someone to compare to Crews, Skenes, Morgan or Beloso. There ain't none and no one really close. Will simply be a long season.

Agree that it is all on CJJ. He looks lost and his team is playing like it. Reminds me of the follow-up to the 2019 season in football. We’ll see if CJJ is a one-hit wonder.
