Yea, but Peterson and Baker were going to be key guys for us. Downs would have seen the field too (apparently he still might??)

Losing Peterson is big to the offensive game plan, if they only lose Austin, then we are hurting more with Peterson, Toliver, and Baker out.

if LSU wins this game, it won't mean anything now that their best players have been suspended.

Thats not LSU's fault, their players should have met the school requirments of being a top tier school in the country.... Also the computers dont have any way of knowing who plays and who doesnt!!!

It does matter because you need media respect to get in the NC game. But I imagine, really doesn't hurt the first game. If LSU takes care of business in the SEC, we'll get recognized. Its still annoying.

you really have delusions of grandeur that allow you to even think about the NCG at this point?

I don't know enough about Austin to come to a really educated conclusion (and of course we don't yet know who if anyone else will be out for NC) but I've got to think having D. Peterson out will hurt as will Baker. Not sure about C. Tolliver since there are Boone and Wright that I think can step up.

Davis says the Austin suspension has nothing to do with the ongoing investigations. BULLCRAP!!! You want us to believe that perhaps your best player is going to miss the season opener against a ranked team because he was late for a meeting or some dumbass thing as that?!?!?!?!

Davis' seat is now a whole helluva lot hotter than Les' ever was. UNC doesn't take kindly to its academic image being tarnished.

What did he do that the other players involved in Miami-gate didn't?

So, I'd say Austin is a bigger loss...

Individually, yes. In the aggregate, not so fast my friend.
