Very good interview by the guys. Marcus was on the "Give Les one more year" boat last year, but now he feels it's over.

So he was ignorant on this issue last year but somehow has credibility now. Anybody who didn't understand Miles needed to go years ago really shouldn't be saying anything now. those people are just admitting they are ignorant. It was blatantly obvious well before the championship debacle.

He's 10000000000% on the money.

Incredible the tone of Culotta and Prince in one week. Those blowhards have no clue.
Now we will be getting but why didn't Miles hire Mawae who used to come on our radio show every Wed but is now an assistant with the Chicago Bears.

I don't agree with that at all.
Although I wanted him gone last november, you could make a case that Miles deserved one more year. It wasn't an open and shut case.
I felt that last year the time was right. We needed to move on. Some felt differently. Some felt Miles earned another year.

I'll bite.
So...WELL BEFORE January 2012 it was "blatantly obvious" that Miles needed to be fired?
When...let me guess...post Tennessee 2005? Game #2?
It's this type of hyperbole which has made Miles' entire tenure nearly impossible to enjoy from all fronts. It's entirely possible to have come to the conclusion that his time has come AND be correct in pointing out that during the vast majority of his time here things have been really really good.
But you're right...there WERE assholes during the 2011 season who were unhappy. Only LSU fans could have been unhappy we were trucking people, but doing so in a way they didn't enjoy. Sadly, I actually do think there were a small but loud portion of our fans that actually got a bit of a thrill with that Championship loss because they got to "be right."

I went back to listening to Jordy this morning, he's actually the most level headed conversation out there.

I was fine with firing Miles for someone like Fischer last year. I was not on board with firing him and hiring an unknown because coaching changes can be really messy if done wrong. I didn't mind giving him a chance to show that he can get more production out of the offense, one last time.
I'm now fine with letting him go and bringing in new blood, regardless of their pedigree as a HC. I honestly believe my mindset was, and is, on par with the majority of the fan base.

Marcus did a great job in this interview.
"If this offense can't score with this amount of talent..."

ouch
At a minimum you have 2 NFL backs and 2-3 NFL WRs

I really liked his comment - it's not fair that the only time you ask Harris to throw is when you need him to throw to win the game
he dead on - to date, our QB's cant develop any rhythm

Yep. Twice during the interview he says this and calls out their names. Says none of them go lower than the 3rd round.

Its true. its equivalent to a 3 point shooter being asked to come in at the end of the game and rain down the 3s without ever taking a warmup shot

I admittedly stopped listening to them for a bit but they've been really good this week. Sans the Corey Webster segments it's a really good show

it has been discussed ad infinitum. where have you been?
if you actually watched games you should have known there were underlying issues and problems right after winning the natty in 2007. some of those performances told the tales from 05 to 07. but we swept it under the rug because we were just happy we had the natty regardless if we had some ugly wins. fair enough.
2008 crap performances we all blamed on perriloux's bs and malloveto. miles is still responsible as he is the HC.
however, if you watched the performances in 2009 and 2010 you should have finally seen it. it should have finally set in. You do realize we had 5 losses in 08 and 4 in 09? you do realize the big whigs said if we have a 3rd straight zook like season(which is 4 or 5 losses) miles will be shitcanned after 2010? that is the golden standard for top notch programs. anyone with knowledge saw the cracks and fissures in 2009, which caused many including myself to go back and re-examine what i swept under the rug in previous years for reasons stated above.
we could easily have had 5 losses in 2010. Lee bailed us out on a 4th and 16 against UT and bailed us out after JJ's screwups against UF and we still needed a lucky fake FG to keep that drive going. We can thank that UNC TE for dropping what would have been the game winning TD in atlanta. i was there. that's 5 losses hoss. those games were absolute dogshit performances along with others in that span. he got lucky. real lucky.
1-9-2012 was just the icing on the cake and we have been mediocre ever since in the sec. look st our sec record. look at our sec west titles the last 8 years.
