Marcus Marcus Marcus. Shut the hell up and think of something else to say. He was hurt his whole junior year. He was still the 4th overall pick. I bet Fournette is happy with how it all turned out.

He's learning from MTV's best - Paul Finnebomb - becoming a shock-jock and has no respect for where he came from. Marcus is an Alabama suckup. Where is the SEC network headquartered? I'm sure he lives in Bama land and everyone there loves him to death. the fricking turncoat.

What are you talking about? Spears is like a lot of us and was frustrated with the previous regime.

No argument here. People forget he was actually a pretty damn good receiver. God, the things we could have done with a talent like that.

If Spears is going to come out and say something controversial like that, he should be a man and say exactly what he's getting at (that Fournette was done a disservice by Les Miles and his lack of offensive creativity, not the actual LSU football program) and not just trash LSU in general.

I'm kind of splitting hairs but I think it's a bad look to speak out about something like that while we're trying to recruit top notch running backs and leave it at "LSU did Fournette a disservice" instead of being real about it and talking about Miles and Cam directly.

But his time here allowed him to be a top 5 draft pick and made him a millionaire so I doubt Fournette feels like he was slighted.

Call me crazy, but he probably would have liked to have achieved some vaguely noteworthy team accomplishments while in college. I'm not sure Texas Bowl Champs and Music City Bowl runner-up quite qualify.

You don't think recruits know Miles and Cam are gone?

That's fine. I just don't see how LF, specifically, was done a disservice by playing at LSU.

Unless they moved it recently, the SEC network is in Charlotte, NC. No RB at LSU has much of a gripe under Miles, WR's and TE's you can make a case, especially the TE's.

You don't think that opposing coaches are still playing the "LSU's passing offense still sucks and they're going to waste your talent just like they did with Fournette" card to scare kids away from us? Recruiting is a dirty game and having something like this come right out of an ex-player's mouth does nothing but give opposing coaches more ammo to bullshite these kids out of coming here. I'm not saying that it's right or true, I'm just saying what everyone knows that these coaches are saying

Marcus Spears played for Nick Saban at LSU. He is paid by the SEC/ESPN and not LSU. He wouldn't be happy with whatever regime was at LSU regardless. He is making money in his afterlife as an NFL player. Can't blame him, but will not listen to his opinions either. Paul Finnebomb loves him and that is enough for me to write him off.

An NFL team would kill to have Jeremy Hill, OBJ, and Jarvis Landry on their team.

our OL created some massive holes for LF to run through. no mention of that.

That is not really what he meant. The overall offensive philosophy created a ceiling in terms of how LF was going to be utilized.

So you're the only LSU fan who doesn't know this is true? do you have a problem with messenger, or both?

Remember that one time we ran essentially a fly route with him down the middle of field and he went up and got it. Yea that literally was never run again
