LSU's records over the last 5 seasons are:

2012 10-3
2013 10-3
2014 8-5
2015 9-3
2016 8-4

That is an overall record of
45-18 for a winning percentage of 71.4%. Not 61% as he stated.
I know things aren't good right now but he doesn't have to make up false bs for dramatic purposes.

He didn't say SEC play. He said overall at 61%.

Look. The man made an incorrect statement and he was clear that he was talking overall record.
If you want to bash LSU with figures then get your figures correct.

Going off the OP, it's 25 wins out of 40 SEC games played for 62.5%.

So it looks like Spears would have still been a bit off if he was referencing that.

His predecessor's record at LSU was 48-16 over 5 seasons, total, BTW. (In case anyone was curious.)

Bitch all you care to math majors. Bottom line is this team has serious issues in the trench and is going to face serious problems in SEC play. There isn't really a shimmer of hope this can get better regarding the OL.

Anyway I count beating Iowa, Wisconsin, Louisville, Washington, and TCU. It isn't like beating Top 20 teams that aren't SEC teams doesn't matter.

I understand we may be pissed off but be correct and don't just make numbers up.

You think Spears came up with those stats? The point remains. This program is mediocre, and will stay mediocre as long as this guy is in charge

Someone just handed him some figures. Actually, I think it's our Sec record the last ??? yrs. Marcus being on tv should be an inspiration for ANYONE to be on!!! He's not one of my favorites.

You're wrong. Was talking about the SEC record. Listen to the sound bite again.

SEC record since 2012:
25-16
61% winning

Marcus is right on and one of the best on the SEC and ESPN. He is telling the truth. Only will get worst this year with lack of D and O line depth.

Facts are facts. If you are going to just throw numbers out the why not say LSU had a losing record in the last 5 years?

I understand LSU has problems right now but I said this shite was coming a year ago. I questioned our lack of depth and overall quality on both lines but was insulted and ridiculed by the resident, self-appointed geniuses on this board.

LSU has not recruited the numbers or quality of linemen it should have for several years now. LSU is starting Freshmen all over the field due to a lack of depth and experience. This is not going to be a quick fix. LSU is going to have to hit the JUCOs to have a stop gap plan because they need depth.

Anyway LSU has a 71.4% winning percentage overall in the last 5 years. We lost 1 game but the season is far from over and we need some players to come back healthy.

2014 4-4

2017 0-1

Total 25-16 .610 winning percentage.
