For everyone who wants him to leave- who do you think LSU can realistically hire in January that will be a sure fire upgrade?

The grass isn't always greener. We know Miles will recruit with the best and keep us in contention in the SEC.

Miles isn't going anywhere. At the least this will just be dismissed as just talk and at the most he uses it as leverage for a raise. but IMO he's crazy to take that job and he knows it.

Since this is a completely asinine question that, because of numerous factors, is impossible to reasonably answer -- I'll take a stab at some possible coaches LSU can "LSU can realistically hire in January that will be a sure fire upgrade."

Gary Patterson
Tommy Tubberville (although I can't stand him, he's an "upgrade"
Bo Pelini
Kirby Smart
Todd Graham
(and actually I think Steve Mariucci would do really well at LSU)
Kevin Sumlin

And just for fun
Nick Saban, John Gruden and Steve Spurrior would volunteer to be anally raped by a dozen silver back apes during mating season for the opportunity to coach at LSU.

Its not impossible to answer. The likes of Spurrier and Saban would be sure fire upgrades. They have proven such.

The likes of Smart, Sumlin, Graham would not be considered "sure fire" upgrades, cause they don't have experience to prove so.

Now, that being said, they could come here and end up being upgrades. But I am talking about guys we basically know for a fact that would meet or exceed what we currently have.

Speculation is not factual." Milesense I need a translator"The only thing I can say to you is my focus is completely on this game. We’re getting ready to play a great A&M team." My wife is on Realtor.com looking for a house"I have no real view of anything else but what I’m getting done right here."

Just so we are all clear.
From this morning's coach's press conference:
"I have had no contact with Michigan. I’m really here to speak about no other school."
"Michigan will be fine. They will always be Michigan. Speculation is not factual."

QUOTES FROM THIS MORNING'S PRESS CONFERENCE

"The only thing I can say to you is my focus is completely on this game. We’re getting ready to play a great A&M team."
"I have no real view of anything else but what I’m getting done right here."
"I very much enjoy where I’m at. Nobody has any reason to be concerned in any way."
