Exhausted at reading the negatives being blamed on Orgeron and the expectations/projections placed on Orgeron. We are competing in the toughest division of the toughest conference in college football. The clear leader is a football dynasty with the best coach in the last 25 years.

All of this is true for Miles as well, it shouldn't matter. Win or else.

How about nearly 2 years of running the ship and nearly 3 years of having significant influence in the program?

Because. Of. Coaching.

That was "the gap. "Any idiot can win with this roster." "Miles is wasting great talent," and so forth. That's why the "Let coaches coach" motto from O WAS the approach that got him the job.

You do not hire Ed Orgeron to rebuild a football program. That makes the hire catastrophically stupid.

Mixed up both comparisons, Nearly 3 of influence, over 2 of running.

8-4 is the ceiling, IMO.

8-4 would be a meh season considering the schedule. 9-3 would be a good season IMO and 10-2 would be great. Our schedule is brutal. This team with last years schedule wins 10 or more.

Miles was fired because it was clear that terrible offensive approach would not win more championships.
Winning your first modern-era NC also changes the culture of the program - forever. Now you know you can do it. Careful what you wish for. Problem is the guy who changed the football culture at LSU is now 2 states over. You won't win Kentucky Derbys with claiming horses. Not sure how Emmert found Saban, but we need another dose of that. In that regard, Alleva is a lightweight and totally outmatched. He and he alone is the problem. Until that changes, chances of another NC are nill.

Orgeron inherited a deeply flawed roster.

No he didn’t.

We were thin at DL and LB were O got the gig. You can't just ignore facts. Aranda has helped to remedy that though.

I’m not ignoring facts, I’m calling out people for creating their own facts. There is a difference.

We have something like 6 seniors that play. Another indication of how bad the roster was. Our draft eligible juniors who left barely made or did not make nfl rosters another indication of where we were.

This excuse was used up last year

Tough shite, you play the games on your schedule. Good coaches and good teams don't bitch about how hard their schedule is.

There is certainly hyperbole but we had a bunch of kickers and not many inside LB. Some people love to leave off the inside part though.

This week people have gone way past concerned. Everyone is melting like we lost the game 31-0.

It was a bad week with a short week of practice and the players were obviously not into which yes is on coach O but sometimes as a coach it doesn't matter what you say or do it just happens.

I'm reserving my judgement on this team and offense till after the game Saturday. If they lay another egg on offense again this week I'll be grabbing my pitchfork

good teams usually dominate the 2nd half...we were basically dominated in both 2nd halves we have played. Now we get to face teams with depth. That is not a reason to be optimistic. I am being optimistic but cautiously now

Sure, we absolutely needed more LBs. When Aranda arrived we began to transition from a 4-3 in which we spent most of our time in nickel with 2 LBs on the field, to a 3-4 in which we play almost exclusively with 4 LBs. People love to leave that part out as well.

And the more kickers thing is bullshite either way and has taken on a life of its own due to the mouth breathers in our fan base.

Brilliant! It could be on O, but it just happens anyway and it's out of his control.

Likely the same people that lost their minds after the Troy game and said that 5-7 was our ceiling. I need to go pull some threads from last year where posters couldn't imagine LSU winning another SEC game outside of Ole Miss. It's people that have never been part of a team and don't know how that dynamic works.

What are you doing differently than the fans that you accuse of "accepting mediocrity?

I watched Florida go through three head coaches in the last few years, and last week they broke a thirty one year winning streak over Kentucky.
I wonder if the Florida fans have accepted mediocrity?

We need to give the present staff a chance while paying of the contracts of past financial mistakes.
Maybe O will be a success, but if not, we will have more dough to play with for the next mistake.

So was Auburn not a good team last year? Because they didn't dominate us in the second half.

No good teams win games. That's it. Just win and everything else doesn't matter.

I swear people come up with anything to complain and be concerned about
