I wouldn't be so quick to say Mingo won't be back.

This is becoming an unfortunate refrain. Many said the same about this season, suggesting that 2012 was the year when LSU would win the NC. That won't happen.
Next year, we lose a significant amount of defensive talent and have to play on the road at UGA and Bama. Will we be a good team? Sure. But I'm interested in national championships. Will we be good enough to capture a title next year?

I hope Miles doesn't sandbag his playcalling up to the Alabama game.. again

Next year is Mett's year to shine.
Plus hopefully we can get him at least one great receiver. Get on it Miles.

What do you ENTITLED fricks not understand about losing 8 starters and having freshman on the oline.

We went undefeated and won the SEC Championship and finished 2 in the country...

Who saw all of the attrition coming though? If everyone stay healthy who knows. But then again we would never know that we had two absolute beast FR/RSFR o-linemen, RB & DBs on the bench.

There is a difference between being entitled and being confident in your program. On paper we looked to be better this year. A lot of issues no one foresaw brought us down a few notches. I'm confident we will be better next year and proud that we can keep competing at such a high level.

It's not getting ahead , but being opptimistic that we WILL or surely should stay in the class of the ellite teams in the country , when someone talks of the best we must be in the conversation !!
It's good to be a TIGER !!!!

Many people were saying this last year, that is true..
I don't think people expected so many injuries and losses.. Especially to the Offensive Line.
Many people had Mathieu, Faulk, and Hurst as All American players.. I'd like to see a team lose 3 expected starters like that and be strong..
Including Lonergan being banged up as well as Josh D, and Williford.
Blue is out and Copeland was banged up.
Alexander is out for the year. Loston and Reid have played banged up.
When Miles opens up the offense we can saw how good we can be.. Our QB Mett almost had 300 passing yards vs Alabama as well as Hill running for over 100 yards.
It is easy to believe our team has strongly underachieved this year. But not without reasons.

I'm certain not many expected LSU to be as good as/better than last year when this season actually started.
I am, or at least that's what they said. The Mettsiah, best running back group ever, best d line, etc.
I expect next years team to be about as good as this years team. Coaching also unchanged, obviously. 10-2 with chance for BCS bowl game.
