saying that TCU would be happy with result means it could be texas, but what about west va.??

TCU is moving to the big east and who else is going to be a contender in that conf? uconn isn't going to have a year like this every year.

Going by that logic, maybe Pitt? Wannstadt has had some decent recruiting classes, then he suddenly resigns/gets forced out. I doubt it though. Too much smoke around Texas based on what's been posted.

No, I don't. I see that you posted an image link that can't crack my filters, though.

I don't claim to be a fricking sports journalist. I actually deal in alternative energy and energy efficiency. I'd be happy to school you on some CHP applications.

For what it's worth, I didn't mean that you lost credibility. However, the article you posted lists Colin Cowherd as a source. That's like asking me to provide a professional prognosis of your hemorrhoids. Go see a real doctor.

This was a comment I found under the NBC article -

"If TCU is going to be happy…and it is indeed a shocker, it may be Boise St. Why not? Why would anyone voluntarily go to Boise? An SEC school wouldn’t be a shocker and the NCAA would never want to rock the Nike cash boat at Oregon. Maybe Texas had a lot of trouble holding onto assistant coaches for a reason."

I think Kyle Brotzman will make a game-winning FG before Boise gets busted for recruiting violations, but it's definitely a possibility because Idaho isn't exactly known for it's football prospects.

As for Oregon - I think this guy is right. Why would the NCAA want to piss off Phil Knight/Nike who donate an ungodly amount of merchandise to schools every year?

It goes against the 'TCU will be happy' but what about Ohio State? Maybe after the tattoos-for-autographs scandal in Columbus someone started asking more questions and dug a little deeper...

Jester, the image link wasn't for you.

And the other point I was trying to make was regardless of your, or most of the other sheeps opinion of Cowherd, somebody thinks his opinion is relevant enough to print it and also keep him with his own national show. Do I agree with him in most instances, no. But I thought the topic was worthy of discussion being that LSU was mentioned...and not by Cowherd either.

And congratulations on your field of study of alternative energy sources.....or whatever it is you do. I assume you posted it to lend credibility to yourself but it has nothing to do with the topic of discussion, which is that somewhere, somebody thinks a top 10 to 12 team is about to be in deep shite regarding recruiting violations.

Yes, finally getting on td today, and noticed a few of you said the most logical choice and the school that everyone knows is still being investigated---Auburn. They are the most deserving program to be outed for major violations, but somehow, that is too easy a guess, so I doubt that is who it will be. Also knowing Coward Cowherd, would not be suprised if this is a rating stunt on his part. Probably not the first time he's tried that.

For what it's worth, Cowherd said yesterday it wasn't Auburn.

Someone inferred it would please TCU. If that's correct, I'd guess either Texas (instate recruiting boost), or Ohio St (due to the snarky comments from the OSU prez). Either would be huge.

If it was Florida, Muschamp would not have taken the head post over there...

Ohio State - history of problems

Tenn - if you want to call them top 10-12, you know kiffin pulled some stunts over there (janzen jackson)

Texas - has a talent pool rivaling the pacific ocean, so i cant imagine them having to pay too many players

Has anyone mentioned Miami? Idk if they're a consensus 10-12 but they kicked randy shannon out rather swiftly... and randy shannon isn't exactly known for his integrity (paid players for big hits and other things on the field when he was an assistant in the early 90s)
