He seems to be doing a pretty good job at Houston right now. Plus he's a Baton Rouge native.

He sucked last time he was in the SEC...

Sounds good. I have no opinion one way or another. Just curious what others thought. I don't know a lot about him.

He would be crazy to come to LSU for one year to have Les tell him what plays to call. He better ride Tom Herman's coattails as long as he can.

seems like he's just filling a title and that herman is running that show now..
but i don't know!

See, I feel like he would jump over the moon to coach at LSU; although you are absolutely correct that Les will call plays for him and Herman is a better mentor.

I would gladly take Major. He would be great.

Coming from Houston. obviously he would. But if you are implying he grew up an LSU fan, you are incorrect. He grew up wanting to go to Bama, which I believe is where his parents graduated from.

Not implying anything, there, because I have no idea of his filiations. Just feel like a move from UH to LSU would be a no brainer for someone of his expertise and skill set. (I don't think he would do very well here, mind you.)

Why is everyone clamoring for change when the engine is not broken, jeez

No. Nothing against him personally. Like that he's a CHS guy and spent his youth in Baton Rouge. Definitely pulled for him when he started out and still do. BUT, you have to wonder why he's bounced around so much.
