Popping out a bunt to the pitcher isn't an "in game coaching" mistake, it's an error in execution, unless you think we shouldve been doing bunting drills in the dugout during the game Also our batters with an opportunity to swing away at the plate striking out or hitting into outs is not an "in game coaching" mistake. We had 1 hit in 5 innings off the pitcher that started extras for them. The players have to adjust to the stadium and quit swinging for the fences.

This. These idiots blaming PM for a players lack of execution is hilarious

Privately asking Bertman's players what they think of PM makes this post inaccurate.

I’m related to one of Mainieri’s former players, and I call bullshite on this. He is extremely respectful of CPM as a coach, and he likes him personally. I’ve been around quite a few of his teammates and they are the same.

The CPM’s ex players hate him narrative needs to go. I’m sure there are some that think they didn’t get a fair shake and don’t like him but that’s the nature of coaching. Every coach is going to have players not like them but a majority of them respect CPM.

It’s uncanny how often his decisions backfire.
Kind of the opposite of Skip. Skip would make a move that would make you shake your head but they would almost always work out.
