Mainieri took full accountability for LSU's 4-14 SEC record this year, saying he's made some mistakes that will be corrected after the season is over.

After the season is over?

Looks like he needs to be making changes right now.

This. May not be able to save the season but it's never too early.

Javy Sanchez should be working at a 24-hour batting cage in South Florida sometime next year.

I'm VERY interested to see where he "lands" next season. I'm sure he's gonna be burning up some MLB front-office's fax machines come June & July.

I dunno how successful he'll be. By that time of year, the bat-boy lineup is usually pretty much concrete.

Thats all he is? I would be embarrassed if I was him. There's no way on God's green Earth should Vanderbilt out recruit LSU in any sport.

Did he mention what any of them were? I'd like to know. What was done between the CSF series and conference play that changed so drastically this team?

He doesn't have to explain them to us, but he will have to explain them to Aleva. It just doesn't sound like he's really taking the blame if he doesn't give examples

"A bit ashamed" for 1-20 in last 7 SEC road series? Changes after the season? I know that means coaches but come on. He should be offering money back on his contract. We are horribly miserable as a team- going back to last year. This is getting similar to Dinardo when he thought LSUs success was all about him and he didn't need quality assistants. Maybe PM will get the message before it costs him his job.

I heard Skip wanted to punish him by taking away his camp money, but thankfully, Alleva intervened after he then tried to schedule a meeting between Maineri & Sandy Bertman regarding a concessions company she started up...

You heard it here first.

We have finished strong the last 3 years.. this team still has an oppurtunity to finish strong and earn a spot in Hoover and possibly a 2 seed in a regional... Wholesale changes are for the offseason, not in the middle of conference play

I'm assuming those mistakes would be the hitting coach?

And according to the rant the third base coach as well as the pitching coach.

I agree, that dude is the biggest joke in BR.

It embarrassing as a die-hard fan to see this arse coaching a program of this caliber.

I'm not going to even get into playing against him in high school.
