yeah if we continue to go with jennings and its the same shite i will be with you guys. But we have harris and this week is perfect to get him going, and i believe for the most part, he has truly played the qb he thought gave us the best chance. People wanted to see jennings after the ole miss game, so i know we have a tendency to overreact with the qbs.

MOTHER F*#%ER

Of course he focuses on the fact that we almost came back (when they were putting subs in on both O and D)....not that we sucked arse for 9/10 of the game.

He's talking about the defense, specifically Martin giving up that TD.

If he's not blind Harris and beckwith will start period.

He basically just said Beckwith will start, but it's not hard to decipher what he's saying about Harris. The two situations are so similar. He talked about expectations for a position and the multifaceted things that play out over time... That's Les for "y'all haven't seen Harris fricking up the mental part in practice cause he's still young, we both know he's better but I have to keep playing the guy who knows what to do." Exact same attitude that kept Welter in last year, now Beckwith has developed. Hopefully Harris is on a faster timeline.

Yeah I agree and took the same from his comments, but my only counter to that point of his is that BH would get up to speed a lot faster actually getting equal or majority reps in practice.

Maybe we need to recruit Bregman at WR-maybe he could do a better job scooping up the short-hops, although I don't think even Shaq could have caught some that AJ airmailed.

There is a damn good reason Miles closes the majority of practices AND why, when asked repeatedly early on about Harris has said, "he's competing -- he's 'coming on', etc."

Give the kid some time.... Johnny Football didn't play an f'king down his TRUE freshman year - didn't emerge until August of his second year in the system. Not saying Harris is Johnny Football -- just that he needs time to adjust to the college game. The "arm talent" (and I HATE that term) is obvious --- game managment skills will take a bit of time to work out. He'll get thee. Until then, I really hope Jennings shines.

Les never give out too much and his hints do not often come to fruition, Heron for example in camp, did KM Jr play, if he did I missed it. Now with Beckwith...who knows... or Harris.
