The team has quit. They really looked like losers the last two blowout losses vs. very mediocre teams. I would be shocked if they win more than one game (vs. Missouri, but only because that team is terrible).

This is just some desperate Ben Simmons hype from the media. They can't bear to not have him in the tournament. Like someone else noted, the last 2 losses were awful, blowouts to bad teams. We have no non-conference wins worth anything, and only the Kentucky and A&M wins against sure NCAA teams. Vandy is barely above the bubble, and Bama is currently below. We're 16-12. Tell me why we even deserve to be mentioned, other than having a star player?
