Do you think he is regretting coming to LSU now? Alabama having success with their new coach.

Knowing what he knows now. Yes.

Don’t let the idiot posters who say he is enjoying his time here say differently.

You're really Captain Hindsight on this topic.

After last year, where would you want to play? A team who fired the coach for betting against his own squad and got a 15 YEAR show-cause or a team coming off a National Championship and needing to replace high level pitching?

Why would he. He stats have been amazing, and he’s had more visibility here than he would have had at Bama. He will be a high draft choice, and as much as he would have loved to have been on a great team the mlb is the ultimate goal.

And LSU will go further in the tournament than Alabama. The OP just doesn’t know it yet. There is a reason why we play 10 SEC series and not 5

Alabama having success

Alabama had success last year when he was there. He also would have known that LSU was losing much of their talent. He still chose to come.

The op is smart enough to know that this is not a very good ball team. You’re hoping they start playing better and I do to, but it’s not looking good.

Your point is all true but acting like he hasn’t thought about the “what if” he had stayed and it worked out like it has for them.
The answer is, he would be a good starter on a team that has a shot.

Is he being treated poorly here, no, is he banging an OT 10, yes, how many, who knows.

But the OG question is valid.

This is where you messed up. No one knows. I know talent and I know there is a long way to go in the season

Again, hindsight.

Soak that in. Hindsight. "Everything told me to take a left, so I took a left. Now after I know, maybe right was better."

I'm not trying to be a dick. I'm literally just saying it's hindsight. From everything last season, LSU was the place to be for him.

Does he regret it? Ask him at the end of the season.

Yes, he could have been at Tennessee competing to win the SEC and going to Omaha. He actually picked LSU over Tennessee. What a mistake that was.

If remember correctly, it came down to Tennessee and LSU. He ultimately picked LSU. Beam was actively recruiting him when they both played for Team USA last year. So to answer you question, he could have played for a better team, Tennessee.

What makes you think he was worried about playing for a better team? He was already on a good team. If you watched the game then you would know that he said he came to LSU because he liked the atmosphere when he visited there. I’m sure there were more reasons but he didn’t mention looking to play on the best team.

He expected pitching development here. He was lied to.
