How much of an impact do you think the these coaches working behind the scenes have had this season on preparing for the marquee opponents on both sides of the ball? We haven't heard a lot about their input although we see Coach John Robinson on the sidelines during games.

What a luxury to have coaches breaking down opponents (or potential playoff opponents) weeks or even months in advance.
Seems like a wise investment.

Was this what Joe Brady was doing for the Saints?

No, he was helping with their jump shots.

Jorge Munoz was invited to New York for the Heisman. Spends as much or more time than E or Brady watching film and prepping Burrow.

Jorge Munoz was mentioned in Burrow’s acceptance speech and was one of a few coaches he thanked directly.

I was actually expecting more "name" coaches serving as analysts, similar to what Bama typically has.

Thank god you aren’t in charge.
Last time I checked we kicked Alabama’s arse with our no name analysts.

Was about to post this. He seems to be very vital and can always be seen near O on the sideline.

Analysts do grunt work. It’s a way for young or lower level coaches to move up.

I’m glad we don’t have bigger names.

DJ Mangas and Jorge Munoz, among others, will get great opportunities from this, either at LSU or elsewhere.

Teams wanting our secret sauce will try to hire them.

Coach O mentioned them in an interview after the Sugar Bowl and said they were reason for all of the success.

He mentioned their tireless efforts of breaking down film and providing detailed analysis to coordinators for game planning.

I'll queue up the recording and see if I can get an exact quote.

Bama has a ridiculous amount of analysts. They do a sick job of scouting opponents.

What these guys do is very valuable. They can sniff out rarely seen tendencies to take advantage of. LSUs analysts have obviously done a great job this year.

John Robinson is as bigtime as an analyst gets, IMO.

Always seems to have a white hat on and sporty glasses. He’s in the background of this picture that was hung in the Louvre.

Bruce Feldman had a great story about this on the latest podcast he does with Stew Mandel

Said the shadow staff stands up at the team meeting every week and the players give them a round of applause for their hard work.
