We've worn white at home as long as I've been alive (except for the NCAA mandate years), and that's a really long time. I don't mind the purples once a year, but we wear white at home. It's tradition and a great look.

I know it's tradition to wear white jerseys at home, but I remember when we had to wear the purple at home (the Hodson years). It's a good look when we're winning

How did the football purples get the reputation for being unlucky? I know the other LSU teams, men's and women's basketball, baseball, etc. also wear purple but no one says they're unlucky.

I think it's the way the lights hit it at night.

I notice when we wear white for a day game, the numbers and trim look much more of a true purple. K&B purple for those old enough to remember.

Your cute little blue square matches pretty close.

I think it's just the fact that the NCAA mandated that home teams wear dark jerseys starting in the mid 80s. With LSU being one of only a couple of teams to wear white at home, it was a sore subject.

Your cute little blue rectangle only matches two pictures. Congrats. It's purple. Get over it.

You went out of your way to overlay a blue rectangle over the photo collection just to prove that in two of the pictures the jerseys look blue and then call me a douchebag.

Aight bro. Keep up to good work. We need more people like you in the world.

You are right, we need more people like you that get sand in their vaginas instead of just admitting they are wrong when proven.

Have a downvote. There is no pageantry and proud tradition with the purple jerseys. They're a symbol of futility and failure not to mention they're ugly as frick.

ETA: I take back my downvote because you did a nice job on the collage. I still hate those god awful uniforms, though.

Wrong about what? They're not blue. I don't get how you can say they're blue when they're obviously purple.

So I guess the jerseys in your avi are ugly too.

I think they're awesome. I'm not a giant fan of the "white jersey home" look ala the Cowboys.

Interestingly enough, the origin of your username happened the night the white jerseys returned to Tiger Stadium.

Apparently you didn't look at the pic I posted. Go pout in the corner please. Christ, just admit you are wrong. Nobody is going think differently of you... sheesh.
