.............Total.......Passing.......Rushing........Pts
2011......239.............91................148...............9
2011........92.............53..................39...............0
2012......435...........296................139.............17
2013......284...........241..................43.............17
2014......259.............78................183.............13
2015......182...........128..................54.............16
2016......125.............92..................33...............0
2017......308...........155................151.............10
2018......196...........184..................12...............0

So the average over the last 9 games:

.......Total.......Passing.......Rushing........Pts
........236............146................89...............9

And how has Ensminger’s offense performed against Bana’s defense? Here are the offensive TOTALS for 8 quarters against them:

.......Total.......Passing.......Rushing........Pts
........321............276................55...............0

And those 55 rushing yards? They came on 52 carries.

111 total offensive plays to gain 321 yards

Pathetic and embarrassing

It is embarrassing to get shutout at home and look so pathetic on offense. ULL scored 14 on them.

The only game that there was a legitimate chance to win was 2012. I was at the 2012, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017 games and this one is like 2016. Last year was good because their 4 starting LBs were all out with injury.

One of those games E wasn’t OC

And it was the only one that the offense moved the ball and actually scored.

You don’t think we had a chance to win in 2014?

Those 14 points were in the 4th quarter against Bama’s 3rd teamers. Those will be the players that will be the starters that will shut LSU in 2020

frick it . Let’s check our souls at the door . Hire Meyer , forget about integrity. Change our drug testing policy to Bama’s, hire Scott Cochran back , allow the players to Juice . Setup a big hit club like the U did during the Ray Ray days. Let’s go thug . frick dem.

I guess it wasn't Miles fault.

We should have won in 14 and we definitely had a legitimate chance to win in 13.

Game was tied at 17 going into the 4th quarter.

Miles had one bad game against Saban in nine regular season meetings and he was out the door to Aleva.

O now has three in three.

Where you at Joe???

Don’t fool yourself. The decline started in 2014/2015. We haven’t been close since 2014.

we led literally the entire 4th qtr in ‘14.
Bama tied it with 3 seconds left on the clock.

i’d say we “had a legitimate shot” at winning that one.

the game I think they had a legitimate chance was the one where Yeldon fumbled on the 5 and we were up, then there was a bull shite penalty to push us back 15 yards. Miles kicks a FG and makes it a 7 point game only for 3rd and 4th and Chavis to rear his ugly fat arse face and Yeldon scored at the end to tie it and we lost in OT when no PI was called against them.
Thought that was 2012 and not 14. I didn’t google may have been 2014. They all run together now.

Another common denominator, a bunch of terrible quarterbacks including Burrow.

You’re combining the 2 games

2012 we settled for the FG and yeldon had the screen pass

2014 we got the fumble and settled on a FG

Should have won both

that is what happens when you’re old. I just remember how disappointed I’ve been walking out the stadium.
Thanks for clarifying this.

That’s the lowest average scored against Alabama by an SEC West team in the same timespan. Meanwhile the NFL is loaded with players from those LSU teams. Even if MS State puts up a goose egg next Sat they’ll still have a better average.
