Hello Tiger Fans!
Your LSU Women's Lacrosse team has begun it's 3rd full year of play for the purple & gold.
With the game of lacrosse boasting strong growth in the Gulf South, you have a great opportunity to support the program here in the early years.
We are a student run organization responsible for our own fundraising & organization execution efforts in order to compete in the TWLL Conference within the WCLA ( WCLA Website).

There is always a chance.
Florida took a strong route to the NCAA by having a quality club program with some years of success & campus interest. Compounded by a terrific donor that led to a combined effort with the Athletic Dept to utilize revenue from 1 home non-conference football game to establish a 1st class program with a facility matched by very few in the NCAA. Add to that, a budget to bring in a highly effective coaching staff with a recruiting budget that allowed for immediate roster strength.
Within their 1st 3 years of NCAA play: the Lady Gators made the playoffs, hosted playoff games, & qualified for the Final 4. Very impressive.
But also VERY do-able here in Baton Rouge. Increased support from this point on would be a great step in the right direction.

To add to this week's Homecoming festivities, we do have our Final Fall Ball game of the Fall season this Friday out at the UREC SAC Fields @ 7pm vs. Ole Miss.
Admission is free. We just ask that all attendees please observe & obey all UREC SAC Field rules.
We encourage all Baton Rouge area youth lacrosse players to come & watch the game. Players & coaches will be available after the game for pictures, positive influence, & even some time to throw around together.

Sounds as though you guys have the enthusiam and commitment for the makings of a great program. Best of luck. It's always nice to see good Club Sports take hold. They really add to the diversity of opportunities for student athletes.

Happy Thursday Ranters,
Dropping a reminder (or a 1st notice for some of you) about our game tomorrow night over on the SAC Fields, right down the road from Alex Box Stadium. Parking at the Hay Lot is advised as that is the game field. The Ole Miss Lady Rebels are coming to town for a game that adds to the Homecoming goings on this weekend.
Admission is free. Come on over from your Friday night tailgate spot & cheer on the Lady Tigers to a W!
