I think they show everyone that they are a better team than most think. With Victor back and Blakeney playing better and better, I think Tigers win.

I'm with you brother. Duop Reath will be the x-factor and if he can stay out of foul trouble, we can win. He's a mismatch for most players to guard.

I like the way this team is looking so far, but don't get your hopes up.

Gregg Marshall is a hell of coach.

I can't wait to see how they play with Victor and Reath together. This is a better team then last year IMO, and skylar Mays is a Huge reason as well as Reath. Mays looks like a real Point Guard that doesn't get out of control and take crazy 3 point shots. Also Reath is stepping into Simmons spot from last year, with less pressure and not trying to be a Point Forward, he is naturally playing down low where he is needed and has been very effective rebounding and shooting, has good range as well. You couple that with an experienced Blakeney, Patterson and Sampson who looks a ton better than last season, and this team is on the path to win a lot of games. I like what I see so far and I'm excited to see them grow, could be in for a real treat this season!!!

Reath is actually a threat from the three point line as well, unlike Simmons.

Maybe if we trade coaches before tip off? If so, I like our chances.

I may enjoy watching the team play more this year than last. They will probably look more like a team.

But, I'm yet to be convinced that with all of the new faces and starter turnover we can consistently beat better teams. Playing forty minutes of defense may often be an issue. Our rebounding against the North Florida team did not cut it last week. Victor being back will help with rebounding and toughness. The Jenkins kid is also supposed to help with D and be a competitor. Barring injury this team has a good chance to exceed preseason expectations. Doubt it is a tournament team, but that is why they play the games.

Go Tigers!!

Don't be surprised if this team is a bubble team at the end of the year. Idk if they will win today, but compared to last year, they have more chemistry, post depth, and actual big men that can score.
Even looking back to the Mickey and Martin year, this team has more depth and better guards. M and M literally played the entire game against NC St and they used a 7 man rotation. This year we have a solid 9-10 man rotation that johnny can use.
They will definitely surprise some people

It does not look like it will be because of fan support.

Reath at C and Craig at PF gives us great size and puts victor at a more natural position than trying to defend centers. He has a nice jumper as well. He should really thrive have true center to help him rebound.

You know I would warm back up to Johnny if he made the tournament AND didn't lose the state's two best players to fricking Stansburry.

I'm just irate Louisiana finally had a big time center prospect, and Johnny loses him to Stans.
