How legit is that 10-2? Have they played a decent schedule?

Kinda weak, but they have beaten every team they were supposed to beat, including a 70-43 rout @ UNC.

Can't really tell until we hit conference play.

Doesn't matter. Like men's basketball, it's a step in the right direction and a significant improvement over this same point last year.

I would say so.

Wins over: LA Tech, Rice, Tulane, Sam Houston St., NC State, UTEP, UALR, UNC, TCU, and Wake Forest

Losses against: UConn (Ranked #1), Kansas St. (10-1; only loss to UConn)

Overall, RPI is #10 currently. Not shabby. Much better start to this year compared to the last few seasons.

Sagarin Ratings has their schedule (to this point I believe) as the 33rd toughest in the country.

They would have 0 wins against teams with a remote heartbeat. Make no mistake this is a very bad basketball team

Just to ask, in your opinion, what makes them a bad team or what have you seen up to this point that makes you feel that way?

Well the quality of women's college basketball outside of the top 8 teams or so is pretty bad, so that's not much of a concern. I was wondering if they were beating up on SWAC teams, at least those are legit athletic programs in general for the most part for teams they beat. I have no idea how good any of those teams are, but UNC was pretty good the last few years at least.

They must be doing something right. They're #8 in rpi according to the NCAA. NCAA RPI

Make no mistake, it isn't Nikki. It's the assistant they have this year.

I was about to say where are the Coach Nikki haters, and then you suddenly appeared. I guarantee you would not be happy under any scenario. Had she lost all games you would be on here trying to trump up a lynch party. Had she won every game you would be here, like now, saying it doesn't mean anything because she has played terrible teams. In other words, regardless of her success, you will not be happy. Is it personal or some other motive?

Last season was bad but you don't think it was Nikki but the assistants' fault right?

I know. All Nikki did was take us to the tournament four straight years - one down year and people go apeshit for whatever reason

I would have fired Nikki last March, but she has done very well so far this season. Mucho props.

My question about Nikki remains her recruiting. If she makes the NCAAs this season and we keep her, will 17-18 be more like 15-16 or 16-17?
