I’m just treating it like a trip to Vegas. If I find some reasonable tickets, great. If not, there are a ton of great places to watch from.

LSU fans will show up in droves for a weekend in Vegas paired with LSU football. LSU doesn't travel well to Florida for games because the games are typically less than exciting in an area that also leaves a lot to be desired. No one is excited about traveling to the same place they've been to 10+ times throughout their lives.

And remember USC is only an hour flight from CA to Vegas, so they'll have a ton of fans...

They are a fickle fan base.

Has anyone booked hotels yet? We are looking around to book some rooms now. Not interested in Mandalay.

I was shocked at the FSU game in Orlando at how many LSU season tickets holders sold their tickets to FSU fans. With so many FSU fans in our sections, it was obvious that the people who requested had no intention of ever going. Plans changed and a few people in my party cancelled, and I actively found LSU fans to buy the tickets.

It pisses me off that our fan base has this mindset.

I have never seen such a sell off for a neutral site/bowl game.

Already got my flight and 2 BR suite at HGV Flamingo, my buddy is in charge of our tickets. Gonna enjoy that adult only pool the day before and after the game.

Mandalay Bay and Delano are the closest to the stadium. If you don't like casinos, Delano is really good

Got mine at New York New York. Decent rate and walkable/short Uber ride to the stadium. Flights out of Chicago MDW were at a good rate as well. Strike the iron while it’s hot

Using comps to stay at Golden Nugget. Spending Saturday in the pool watching games and scenery at Circa swim.

Flights on SW were 50% cheaper from Austin than Hobby. So guess I'll drive the 2 hours to fly from AUS.

New Orleans is only an hour from BR and FSU outnumbered us 3-1 in the dome two years ago. LSU fans aren’t traveling to Vegas in droves.

Mandalay is a little old. Will walk/uber a short distance for better rooms.
