He's a freak athlete. Not many guys have his size, length, and speed. Just gonna take time for him to learn the game. This is the first time he's played in awhile.

I want to give tonight a pass thus far because UAB is simply hot from deep and no Gray and a Quarterman that's killing us severely hurts us...but man UAB is just sooooo bad. If they beat us forget about any chance at the NCAAT. That is an RPI 200+ type of team.

He's a raw 3/4 that's athletic and can shoot and block shots. He wasn't expected to be a major contributor this year.

I'm fine with calling him a hybrid 3/4 but JJ puts just dumb shite into these guys heads like Epps by saying they can play the 2. This is why guys like Epps think they are Stephen Curry and shoot more from deep than 5 feet from within the bucket where you can actually use your size and athleticism.

Giving up those early 3s has also hurt the defense. They started doubling the guards and letting the bigs get easy buckets. Martin getting 2 quick fouls again also didn't help.

LSU clearly has UAB on the offensive end from my look here- waaaaay more athletic, except for in the paint - about even there. LSU can dominate UAB's guards on the offensive end and there have been wide open LSU players and no one is getting the ball to them.
