Both times we've played them before, we've been in a fight for our lives and barely won. This time, the disparity in quality of the teams is not nearly as big. If we were a Sun Belt team and this were a conference game, we would show up ready to play and win it because we have better talent (I hope), but given the perception of this as a rent-a-win and our team's hopeless lack of mental discipline, it's a tossup.

This is a game where we find out if our players have the inner pride to somehow pull it out after playing like shite for three quarters, as the two previous LSU teams that played Troy did. Given what I've seen from this group, I'm skeptical.

Troy wins and tigers are left searching for solutions with tough games remaining.

Tigers are in real trouble to lose this game based on previous performances, and my attitude won't change until they prove they can win. 28-24 LSU

This game scares me. After LSU nearly shite the best last week. Troy came very close to beating eventual national champions Clemson last year

First half, we play terrible. Game is tied at 14-14. The rant continues to melt harder and harder

Second half we remember who we are and pull away.

Tigers win. 33-14

LSU gets a safety early in the 2nd that proves to be the difference. Chark fumbles a punt and has a punt return for a TD. Greedy gets one INT, another taken away after replay (which seems to be the norm), and Troy misses a 54 yard field goal as time expires to lose.

This game becomes a beat down quickly. LSU needs a big confidence builder and gets one today.
